While applying, there are essays. One is called a recommendation and the other is an interview. In the first essay, you are expected to give two short answers, this is to test your personality to see how well you could do. Both answers should be 100 words each and try as much as possible to express your character. The reason for the 100 words is because they want you to look for the right words and go straight to the point of the question.

A letter of recommendation is needed whereby the recommender must give useful information about your professional performance and how you work. I recommend you make your supervisor the recommender because he has all the information about your work ethic. If that can’t be possible, make sure you have a professional mentor or a project manager.

In the recommendation, the recommender is expected to provide brief information about their interaction with you in their organization. Your recommender is also expected to talk about your performance and also describe a situation that you handled properly.

The introductory part of your recommendation should be 50 words. While the body of the recommendation which explains your character and any situation you handled should be up to 500 words. Your recommender is to submit your recommendation online, before the deadline of your application round.

After you’ve applied and successfully submitted if it is well received you will be invited for an interview with a Ross student, either an ex or current student. The interview is strictly by invitation. Further information on the next step will be related to you after the application deadline is passed.

While Ross may not be the most well-known undergraduate business school in the nation, it has been moving up the ranks, and new data reveals that its alumni are earning more than those from other prestigious business schools. In order to ensure that its students are ready for success after graduation, Ross is also dedicated to enlisting the mentoring of top-tier teaching talent.

If you’re a prospective student wondering when to apply, you should do so in three separate batches depending on the day each institution starts taking applications.

Keeping this in mind, you should apply to colleges where you are likely to be accepted. This increases your chances of getting into a business school (maybe the school of your choice) while decreasing the danger of wasting a year preparing for an admission exam that will not lead to a business degree.
